What to do if my tenant has a problem with the lock or has lost their keys?
If the tenant informs you that they have lost their keys, ask them to file a loss report with the police and then encourage them to contact their insurance.
For key duplication, you can handle it for them (especially if a VIGIK access needs to be reprogrammed) or give them a duplicate to have copied themselves.
If you handle it, they will need to pay you upfront and you must provide them with an invoice. If the tenant reports a malfunction with the lock or their key, it will depend on the origin of the problem. If it is due to improper handling, the replacement/repair will be at their expense. Conversely, if it is due to wear and tear certified by a locksmith, the replacement/repair will be at your expense. In the case of wear and tear, the tenant's insurance will not cover the intervention.
