Should I provide diagnostics for my apartment?

Yes, property diagnostics are mandatory. When signing the lease, you will be asked to provide a copy of the diagnostics for your apartment.

The following items will be requested:

• the risks information regarding natural and technological hazards (ERNT),

• the energy performance diagnosis (DPE). We can recommend a diagnostician if needed,

• the lead exposure risk assessment (CREP) if your dwelling is in a building constructed before January 1, 1949,

• the state of the interior electrical installation if the installation is more than 15 years old,

• the state of the interior gas installation if the installation is more than 15 years old.

Compliance with these obligations allows you to rent calmly and avoid unnecessary disputes with the tenant.
