What to do if damages were observed when leaving the premises?
Check-in conducted by the owner: We advise you to be transparent with the owner and to inform them. The owner will be responsible for listing in the report all items that are not in the same condition as at check-in in order to establish a comparison. If damages are observed at the end of the rental and result from an accidental injury, the home insurance (multirisk homeowner's insurance) may, under certain conditions, cover part of the repairs, taking into account the depreciation rate and the supporting documents provided.
Check-in conducted by Home Attitude: The agent present will be responsible for listing in the report all items that are not in the same condition as at check-in in order to establish a comparison. This report will be sent to you and to the owner; if there are damages, the owner has 30 days to inform us, then 30 more days to send all supporting documents that will be used for any deductions from your security deposit.
