Is the Move-Out Inventory Required?

Move-in/Move-out with the landlord: The move-out inventory is not mandatory, but we strongly recommend that you carry out a move-out inventory with the landlord.

The move-out inventory will, in a sense, provide a summary: it is mainly for the landlord to verify that there have been no damages to the property or furniture. On your side, this document will help you guard against potential claims by the landlord for damages appearing after you have left the premises.

Move-in/Move-out with Home Attitude: The move-out inventory appointment is mandatory. You must be present for its entire duration. At the end of this inspection you will be asked to sign the report, return the keys, and vacate the apartment.
