In case of water damage, it is essential to inform the landlord first, then the agency. Under the IRSI insurance agreement, the tenant's insurance does not cover this type of claim. Since this is a furnished rental, it is the landlord's responsibility to file the claim with their insurer and arrange the necessary repairs. Furthermore, the insurance does not provide for tenant relocation.
