Should I pay the housing tax and the tourist tax?

Edited

If you rent the main residence or secondary residence from a property owner under a seasonal lease, you must pay the tourist tax, but not the housing tax, whether or not you are present on January 1.

If you rent a furnished apartment for a few weeks and pay the tourist tax, you do not have to pay the housing tax. It is the owner's responsibility to pay it.

Otherwise, you are subject to the housing tax if you are in the apartment on January 1 of the current year.

When the tourist tax is due, Home Attitude will collect it from you and then transfer it to the relevant authorities and local government bodies.

It will be payable at the same time as the rent.

The owner of an apartment rented through Home Attitude can never ask you directly to pay this tourist tax.
